Job Description:

  • Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Datastax Graph,Mongodb, AWS S3 & Presto/Trino.
  • Lead the Data visualization migration project by moving over business dashboards & data objects to AWS S3.
  • Build scalable and reliable data ingestion pipelines with Spark, Python and SQL using Databricks
  • Design and Develop ML based use cases for prediction/forecasting.
  • Design, Develop & deploy ETL processes using python and pyspark.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS Codepipeline shell scripting for code deployments.
  • Orchestrate Machine Learning Framework to predict sales and stock movement.

Job Description:

  • Work to improve scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems.
  • Drive software advisory and implementation services to help teams unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the financial services.
  • Participate in setting company leadership principles and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope.
  • Drive the development and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based solutions.
  • Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet architecture and Infrastructure goals.
  • Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment.
  • Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions; drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing offerings for continuous insights and improvements.
  • Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Designing the customized hardware requirements such as building high performance super computers, control panels, servers, displays and routers. This involves evaluating performance, choosing the correct hardware components and building the circuit boards. Which includes dealing with third party manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Integrating newly built customized system hardware with software used for trading, risk management, and data analysis. May involve collaborating with software engineers and developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Maintaining the network infrastructure that connects trading desks, data centers, and exchanges. This might include optimizing network latency for high-frequency trading (HFT) or ensuring reliability and redundancy to minimize downtime.
  • Optimizing hardware configurations to achieve maximum performance and efficiency. This could involve tuning system parameters, optimizing algorithms, and implementing hardware acceleration techniques.
  • Ensuring the security of hardware infrastructure against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. This includes implementing measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls to protect sensitive trading data.
  • Monitoring and maintaining hardware performance and health, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and hardware upgrades.
  • Ensuring that hardware infrastructure complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly in highly regulated sectors such as finance.
  • Implementing disaster recovery and contingency plans to minimize the impact of hardware failures or other disruptions on trading operations.
